Welcome to my little corner of the Internet, where I'm going to do my best to spread all I've learned about dealing with endometriosis in the sincere hope that it helps someone else dealing with the disease (either directly or indirectly).
Since discovering that I have endometriosis, I've essentially turned away from Western medicine in favor of a more natural, holistic and "organic" approach. Keep in mind that this path may not be for everyone, and I'm not a doctor nor do I work in the medical field. But, if, like me, you are frustrated with the limited options traditional medicine offers to manage your endometriosis symptoms, I encourage you to take a look around my site and other resources available on the web.
If you are looking for other resources for endometriosis, click on the "Resources" tab at the top of the page - it's a list I've been building for some time now, and I hope it helps you find what you are looking for.
As I mentioned, if my site can help or reach just one person with endometriosis, I'll be tickled pink. I've learned, that like other chronic illnesses, it's definitely not an easy thing to cope with either physically or mentally. I'm here to tell you that it's okay to feel what you're feeling. It's okay to feel frustrated, angry, scared, depressed, confused, worthless, or to feel alone. It's okay - but only for now. You're here now, so you're obviously reaching out in some way for help. You're here because you want to do something about the way you're feeling - both mentally and physically!
Trust me when I say your journey won't be easy. But also trust me when I say your journey will ultimately be fulfilling. I can't wait to get started! Good luck to you all!
